Modern Apprenticeships / Scottish Vocational Qualifications/<br>Full-time college courses are not an option for everyone. Modern Apprenticeships (MAs) and Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) are designed to enable those already working to undertake a qualification that reflects the skills they are using and developing in the workplace. All of the qualifications have a flexible, workplace delivery approach with regular support from a qualified assessor, who is an expert in their field.

Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs)
SVQs are available to people age 16 an over. They are based on standards of competence that describe a candidate's ability to work in real conditions.
There are five levels of an SVQ:
Level 1 - basic, routine and repetitive skills
Level 2 - broad range of skills including non-routine activities and individual responsibility
Level 3 - supervisory skills
Level 4 - management skills
Level 5 - senior management skill

We are an accredited SAAS Centre and are contracted by Skills Development Scotland to deliver a wide range of Modern Apprenticeships.
