Elizabeth Pirrie, Chief Operating Officer, Investing Women & Accelerate HER
Elizabeth is a business woman with a passion for helping other business women achieve their full potential.
A qualified accountant with over 20 years of experience, Elizabeth took her skills and passion into Economic Development in 2012. Since then she has helped many businesses to start-up and grow across several sectors including life sciences, technology and tourism.
As Chief Operating Officer at Investing Women and AccelerateHER, Elizabeth works alongside CEO and founder, Jackie Waring, supporting female founders to grow their business through the AccelerateHER program of events and changing the face of angel investment through Scotland’s first female only angel investment group, Investing Women Angels.

Sheila Hogan, Founder & CEO, Biscuit Tin Planning Ltd
Sheila has over 25 years’ experience running and designing multiple businesses and providing corporate consultancy as a Business Architect. She is an energetic, visionary leader who makes change happen. She was inspired to start Biscuit Tin following the death of her parents. Her mission is to digitally transform the way we do end of life and life closedown so we plan ahead, remove unnecessary hassle and stress and make a difference for our loved ones when we die.
Originally from Yorkshire she moved to Scotland in 1995 and quickly settled with her husband and daughter in East Lothian, 26 years on and the family has extended with a son-In-law and two Grandsons. Sheila has a zest for life with fun and adventure always a part. As past President of the Association of Scottish Businesswomen and Edinburgh's Businesswomens Club she has a passion to encourage and support women in business.

Antonia White, Business Angel and Director D4 Growth
Antonia has always been interested in the application of science and technology. In 2008 she co-founded a company bringing new technology into the agriculture sector. The company now has a client base in over 20 countries and a US subsidiary. Leading and being involved in all aspects of the business has given Antonia a broad range of experience and a real practical understanding of the excitement and challenges of starting and growing a company. Before building her own Company, Antonia spent many years involved in science, technology and innovation in the private, public and HE sectors. Antonia is a member of Boardroom Advisors and Investing Women. She enjoys supporting other entrepreneurs and is particularly keen to encourage female founders and leaders.
