Chamber CEO Val Russell added: “At this point I would like to thank all the judges who have worked so hard to get us to the end of this first stage. Each application is scored by two independent judges, scores aggregated to get the final three - no easy task.

“In fact this year in one category it was impossible and four applicants have been short listed.

“No one in the Chamber, including myself, are involved in the process. I hope this shows what a robust and transparent process we have in place and that all finalists have done exceptionally well to get to stage two in what was an exceptional year for both number and quality of applications.

“Thanks also go principal sponsor 1825 Financial Planning and all our category sponsors.  Book tickets now it’s shaping up to be a great night”

This year’s winners will be announced at the Awards night, part of Ayrshire Business Week, on Friday 13th October at Ayr Racecourse and will be hosted by Colin McArdle and entertainment from the returning Edward Reid.

You can book tickets to attend the evening here
