The GlaxoSmithKline Enterprise Fund supports sustainable job-creating initiatives in Ayrshire. Established with a generous contribution from GlaxoSmithKline, the fund will have a major impact on future economic regeneration and aims to create many new jobs over the next two years. Partnership is vital to the success of continuing growth and the fund is a collaborative venture involving GlaxoSmithKline and Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
who can apply?

anyone wishing to establish a new business in Ayrshire

existing businesses that are looking to expand
If you can demonstrate that you'll be creating new, sustainable, quality full or part-time jobs to help regenerate the local community then you may be eligible to apply to the fund for a grant to assist you in your project.
new opportunities
The fund is also available to social enterprises and voluntary organisations that will lead directly to the creation of new jobs. Applications must be able to show that the business activity will be based in Ayrshire. However, there is no requirement to live in the area.
Projects supporting the development of high-tech or manufacturing based jobs are particularly welcome, but applicants from all industrial and commercial sectors will be considered.
